Condensate Management
Under the Water Authorities Act 1991 it is illegal to dispose of compressed air condensate into the foul sewer system. We supply a comprehensive range of oil/water seperators and auto-drains to provide complete, effective condensate management.
Filters
Dust and oil vapour can both be reduced by filtration. We supply general-purpose DD filters to remove particles down to one micron as well as water and vapour down to 0.1 ppm. A high efficiency PD filter can remove particles down to 0.01 micron and oil and water vapour to 0.01ppm. Top performer is the QD active carbon filter that removes odours and leaves the remaining oil content at just 0.003 ppm.
Dryers Compressed air entering the air net is always 100% saturated with water vapour. When it cools, moisture will condense, causing severe damage not only to the compressed air system, but also to processes and finished products. To prevent water [passing into your air system we provide a choice of dryers with outputs ranging from 1.5 to 2075 l/s. The types available are FD, utilising R134a and R404A environmentally friendly refrigerants, CD heatless desiccant, BD heat regenerative desiccant and NM drum dryer .
